Shipping Guides Ltd is based in the town of Reigate in Surrey. It's about 25 miles south of central London and less than 10 miles from Gatwick Airport. The closest motorway access is Junction 8 of the M25, and the town is located on the junction of the A217 and the A25.
Redhill is the nearest mainline rail station with regular services north to a variety of London stations and south to Gatwick Airport, Brighton and the south coast. Reigate itself is served by commuter services to and from Guildford, Reading, Dorking and Redhill.
The most direct route is via the M25 London orbital motorway. Leave the M25 at Junction 8 (signposted Reigate) and head south into the town. Reigate Hill House is the tall building with the clock tower just before the level crossing on the left hand side. Turn left into Birkheads Road and our car park is the first entrance on the right.
If you are using a SatNav, it may be better to program in the post code RH2 0AR which is situated on Birkheads Road.
Our offices are accessed from the car park. Just press the intercom button and speak when answered.
Reception is on the 1st floor.
There are direct connections between Reigate and both London Bridge and Victoria. However, most trains to the south coast pass through our local main hub, Redhill (including the Gatwick Express), which is a short taxi journey from our offices.
Our offices are opposite the northern entrance to Reigate Station, but access is via Reigate Hill. Turn left out of the station, then first right at Reigate Hill House.
If alighting on the southern platform, walk west towards the level crossing, turn north across it, and we are in the tall yellow brick building just in front of you.
The entrance is about 30m on the right. The intercom is situated inside the front gates.
Gatwick Airport is just 7 miles south of Reigate and we recommend taking a taxi for this relatively short distance. The other option is to take a train to Redhill Station and then a taxi from Redhill to Reigate.
Depending on traffic, travelling to and from London Heathrow via the M25 takes approximately 50-60 minutes. Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are on J15, Terminal 4 on J13 and Terminal 5 J14.
