An ACE Report is a report of Actual Conditions Experienced at a port or terminal

These reports are sent to us by Shipmasters and others who have recently visited (or have specific knowledge of) a given port, harbour or terminal location and wish to add to the entry appearing in our range of port information guides.

Whilst it is vital that we provide Shipmasters and other users of our guides with shipping information that has been fully authenticated by the relevant official authorities, we are aware of the great value placed by our customers on port information gained first hand by other seafarers.

At times it is impossible to obtain official data from the local port authorities. In such cases the only port and terminal information available is that provided by Masters and others who provide us with ACE Reports. These are some of the most important reports of all, greatly appreciated by fellow seafarers entering an unknown port.

Accuracy

At times the information contained in an ACE report will be at variance with official data. We do our very best to check all the facts so that readers will be aware of what to expect when visiting a port, harbour or terminal.
