The Ships Atlas has become established as the most comprehensive marine atlas available to the maritime industry, an indispensable desktop companion for everyone, whether on the bridge or in the shipping office.

" With very clear, easily readable text and equally sharp, full-colour maps, this comprehensive marine atlas includes many new improvements from the last edition. "
International Tug & Salvage

This 13th Edition sees continuous improvement with a further 600 ports added, new detailed map insets of popular locations and extensive revisions to dry dock and distance table information.

Maintaining the accuracy of all the maps within The Ships Atlas is our top priority.  We constantly strive to expand on the information provided and this led us to include user-friendly information symbols signifying size and capacity of a port, cargoes handled and dry dock availability and size.  Using the North Sea area as an example, the symbol for Rotterdam demonstrates that it is a major international port handling general/dry, bulk and oil cargoes, but not gas cargoes.  This information is also included in the extended index which continues to include useful port data.

" A particularly useful feature is the large integral bookmark with map key information included on the front, saving a great deal of cross-referencing. "
International Tug & Salvage

Our themed maps have also all been modified to take into account the latest amendments on topical subjects.  These include Global Piracy Incidents, MARPOL 73/78 (including latest updates), Sensitive Sea Areas, International Load Lines and Areas, Standard Time Zones, International Navigating Conditions, World Political, Ocean Currents, Global Wind Patterns and Global Distribution of Major Diseases.

Main features include:
