Global Piracy Incidents Map

An analysis of all the piracy and armed robbery incidents reported to the IMB Piracy Reporting Centre up to June 2009.

• regional statistics including pie charts
• 2009 piracy attack hotspots

• a breakdown of actual and attempted piracy and armed robbery attacks (2005-2009)

• the location of the Maritime Security Patrol area, introduced in January 2009
