Shipping Guides is based in the town of Reigate in Surrey. It's about 25 miles south of central London and less than 10 miles from Gatwick Airport. The closest motorway access is Junction 8 of the M25, and the town is located on the junction of the A217 and the A25.
Redhill is the nearest mainline rail station with regular services north to a variety of London stations and south to Gatwick Airport, Brighton and the south coast. Reigate itself is served by commuter services to and from Guildford, Reading, Dorking and Redhill.
Directions
By Road
The most direct route is via the M25 London orbital motorway. Leave the M25 at Junction 8 (signposted Reigate) and head south into the town. Reigate Hill House is the tall building with the clock tower just before the level crossing at the railway station on the left hand side. Turn left in Birkheads Road and our car park is the first entrance on the right.
Our offices are accessed from the car park. Just press the intercom button and speak when answered. Reception is on the 1st floor.
By Rail
There is a direct line between Reigate and London Bridge. However, most trains pass through our local main hub, Redhill (including the Gatwick Express), which is a short taxi journey from our offices.
Our offices are opposite the northern entrance to Reigate Station, but access is via Birkheads Road. Turn right out of the station, then first left and left again. Reigate Hill House is the tall buildingat the end of the road on the left.
By Air
Gatwick Airport is just 7 miles south of Reigate and we recommend taking a taxi for this relatively short distance. The other option is to take the Gatwick Express to Redhill Station and then a taxi from Redhill to Reigate.
Depending on traffic, travelling to and from London Heathrow via the M25 takes approximately 50-60 minutes. Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are on J15, Terminal 4 on J13 and Terminal 5 J14.
